Ray Tomes
Independent Researcher, New Zealand

Ray Tomes is a New Zealand software pioneer and cycles researcher. Starting his career as a system software developer using IBM (with punch cards to store programs) and later DEC computers, he soon moved into developing economic modelling programs used in successfully forecasting the New Zealand economy. Ray studied pure maths, applied maths, stat maths and physics at Auckland University in the 1960s. Ray discovered repeating cycles in the economic data and so started a lifelong dedication to the research of cycles across all scales of physics, areas of human knowledge and time series market or scientific data. Ray's eventual creation of a simple elegant principle that connects phenomena across all scales and is fully compatible with standard physics, is set to become the third frontier of our understanding of the universe around us and within us. Ray is a committed Vipassana meditator, attending many courses and serving at the Dhamma Medini Vipassana Meditation Centre in Makarau North of Auckland. He has traveled the world and given more than 25 presentations on Cycles and Harmonics Theory at various conferences, many of which, along with interviews of Ray, can be found on Youtube. He was recently awarded the Dewey Lifetime Achievement award from the Foundation for the Study of Cycles recognizing his more than 60 years of dedicated cycles research.

Lori-Anne Gardi
Independent Researcher

Lori-Anne Gardi is a software developer and independent researcher whose work spans both applied medical technology and theoretical cosmology. Her professional career has focused on advanced medical imaging, where she has worked extensively with image processing, 3D visualization, and spatial registration techniques used to align and interpret complex medical datasets. Her technical work includes developing computational tools for analyzing medical images and improving the accuracy of spatial alignment between imaging modalities such as MRI and ultrasound. Alongside her professional work in medical imaging, Lori conducts independent research exploring the role of fractal geometry in physics and cosmology. Her theoretical investigations focus on the mathematical structure of the Mandelbrot set and its possible connections to physical phenomena such as wave propagation, resonance, inverse-square behavior, and large-scale cosmic structure. She is the author of several research papers examining how fractal boundaries and recursive processes may provide new insight into the fundamental structure of the universe. Lori’s work bridges the precision of medical imaging technology with the conceptual depth of cosmological research, reflecting a lifelong interest in visualization, mathematics, and the hidden structures that shape both the human body and the cosmos. Through her writing and research, she seeks to make complex scientific ideas more intuitive and accessible, connecting practical engineering with fundamental questions about the nature of reality.

Dr. Amira K. F. Val Baker
The Works Research Institute, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Dr Amira Val Baker is a research scientist with a background in experimental atmospheric physics and observational, analytical, and theoretical astrophysics. She graduated with a Msci in Astrophysics from UCL where her Master thesis was on the modelling of UV irradiance levels and ozone layer depletion trends. She holds a PhD in Astrophysics on the topic of binary stars, neutron stars and black holes and completed post-doctoral research at the University of Alicante, as part of the Massive Stars group. The driving force for her research has always been to observe the patterns in nature and how they repeat across scales. Seeing these repeating patterns as the bridges between disciplines, she strongly believes in the interdisciplinary approach and holds to the fact that historically most great scientific achievements have been made by people who are creative and think outside the box. It is through this lens that she continues to study the interconnected and harmonic nature of the universe with the goal of deepening our understanding of black holes and the role they play at all scales, from the formation of sub atomic particles to the evolution of cosmological structures.

Hans J. H. Geesink Independent Researcher
Hans J. H. Geesink
Independent Researcher

Hans Geesink is studying a biophysical principle based on quantum coherence. Strikingly, an algorithm could be detected in various animate and non-animate systems. We discovered a very similar pattern for animate systems, energy/frequency distributions in entanglement (EPR) experiments, frequencies of the currently known elementary particles in the standard model as well as in frequency patterns of spectral energy gaps that promote superconducting properties. It is an interesting aspect providing a bridge between life systems and pure physical phenomena.

Geoffrey Haselhurst
Independent Researcher and Natural Philosopher

Geoffrey Haselhurst is an Australian natural philosopher and independent researcher whose work focuses on the Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) – a “one substance, one law” view of reality in which all particles and forces arise from harmonic standing waves in space. Since the late 1990s he has been developing and refining this framework, exploring how it can unify quantum theory, relativity, cosmology and metaphysics in a single, dynamically connected picture of the universe. Geoff divides his time between writing, long conversations with AIs, and life at sea aboard his 72-foot aluminium ketch, Ayacanora, which doubles as a floating research base and quiet place to think. His ongoing passion is to make deep physics and philosophy accessible, and to invite others into a more coherent, harmonic understanding of how the cosmos holds together.
